By honouring these women, we, not only celebrate and recognize their accomplishments, but also learn from their successes and struggles.<\/p>\n<p>It was my pleasure today, along with Dr Arthi Ganesh, Pro Chancellor &#8211; Vels University and Dr Preethaa Ganesh, Vice President &#8211; Vels Group of Institution, to meet some of such incredible women at the VELS University International Women\u2019s day celebrations. Below women were conferred with this year\u2019s \u201cVELS Women Achiever Award\u201d at the VELS Campus today.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Priya Rajan- Mayor, Greater Chennai corporation, Tamilnadu<\/p>\n<p>Ms Ramya Bharathi- IPS officer, Joint Commissioner, Chennai North Zone<\/p>\n<p>Dr Saveetha rajesh- Director, Saveetha medical College and Pupil Saveetha Eco School<\/p>\n<p>Ms Sudha kongara Prasad- Indian Film director and screen writer<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Arathi Arun- Commonwealth powerlifting champion<\/p>\n<p>It was even more merrier to support and recognise few new generation women entrepreneurs, the winners of the VELS\u2019 VFund 3.0 startup pitch 2023 and award Rs 2Lakhs each of seed money for their innovative business ideas.<\/p>\n<p>All the best to every participants and awardees who made it to this highly motivating day!
